Draft — pending legal review. This text is a placeholder and will be replaced before launch. Items in [square brackets] are to be completed by PassPro.
This Privacy Policy explains how [Company legal name] ("we") collects and uses your personal data when you use PassPro. We process personal data in line with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) and its implementing regulations.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: your name, email address, phone number (if you sign in by OTP), the exam you are preparing for, and your password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google we receive your name and email from Google.
- Practice history: the sessions and exams you take, your answers, scores, time spent, bookmarks, question reports and study streaks. We use this to show your progress and analytics.
- Payments: the plan you buy, the amount, and the payment status and reference. Payments are processed by checkout.com. Your card details are entered directly with checkout.com and are never stored on our servers.
- Device and security data: device identifiers, IP address and access logs, used to keep your account secure and to detect content copying or account sharing.
2. How we use your data
- to provide the Service, including your progress and performance analytics;
- to process payments and keep records required by law (for example tax records);
- to protect the Service and its content from misuse;
- to contact you about your account, and — only if you agree — about offers.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run PassPro (such as hosting, email delivery and checkout.com for payments), under agreements that require them to protect it, or where the law requires it. [List of processors and hosting location to be confirmed.]
4. How long we keep data
We keep account and practice data while your account is active. Payment records are kept for the period required by law. [Retention periods to be confirmed.]
5. Your rights
Under the PDPL you have the right to be informed, to access your data, to request correction, and to request deletion. Contact us at [privacy email] to exercise these rights.
6. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app or on the website under Account → Delete account. Deletion cancels any active plan and removes your name, email and phone number from your account. Records we must keep by law (such as payment records) are retained only for as long as required.
